Fort Lauderdale, Florida Attorney, Suzanne Friedman focuses her practice on medical malpractice, personal injury and business litigation. She also maintains a general business practice representing a vast array of national and international clients on corporate and business matters.

Suzanne is a former oncology nurse and cancer research associate for the University of Miami, School of Medicine. She is also a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem for Broward County, Florida.

Prior to joining The Russo Firm, Suzanne Friedman started her career practicing in the area of medical malpractice defense litigation, representing insurance companies and hospitals in large medical malpractice claims. For the past 20 years, Suzanne has worked in private practice and has served as house counsel for various national and international companies on corporate legal matters. Suzanne has also represented several Major League Baseball players in their contract negotiations.

Suzanne received her B.S. in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Bridgeport, in Connecticut, and her Juris Doctor degree in 1985 from the Nova Southeastern University in Broward County. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association since 1988.

Suzanne Friedman has served as past President of the Coco Plum Homeowners Association and is very active in the non-profit arena as a volunteer for several civic and charitable causes. Suzanne is a Certified Yoga Teacher; owns yoga studios, a yoga clothing company, and a high-end women’s accessories company. She is a frequent lecturer for the Business of Yoga seminars.
