Joshua Rubin serves Of Counsel at The Russo Firm, where he focuses his practice on complex personal injury matters, including medical malpractice and nursing home negligence. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 2009, majoring in History. He later attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2012. Mr. Rubin was admitted to the bar that same year and is also admitted to practice before the Northern and Central Districts of the United States District Court. While in law school, he contributed as a member of the Health Law Journal.
Mr. Rubin began his legal career representing healthcare providers, including hospitals, physicians, and nursing homes, in malpractice and negligence litigation. His experience on the defense side provided him with a comprehensive understanding of how such cases are evaluated and valued, as well as insight into the strategies used by healthcare institutions and insurers.
He later transitioned his practice to advocating for injured individuals and their families. In this role, Mr. Rubin has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
