AFFF (aqueous film-forming foam) Firefighting Foam

• An estimated 3.5 million people, including firefighters, other first responders, and residents near military bases, have been exposed to AFFF.

Camp Lejeune Water Contamination

Ozempic is a prescription medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, which means it works by mimicking the effects of a hormone that helps regulate blood sugar levels.

Ozempic has been linked to several serious side effects, including stomach paralysis (gastroparesis) and gallstones. Gastroparesis is a condition in which the stomach muscles do not work properly, causing food to move slowly through the stomach. This can lead to nausea, vomiting, bloating, and constipation. Gallstones are hard deposits that form in the gallbladder. They can cause pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Philips CPAP Lawsuit

The Russo Firm represents plaintiffs in a class action lawsuit against Philips, the manufacturer of CPAP machines, alleging that the machines contain toxic foam that can cause cancer and other health problems.

• The lawsuit alleges that Philips knew about the dangers of the toxic foam but failed to warn consumers.

• Recently, parties reached a $479 million settlement in the lawsuit, but it still needs a judge’s approval.

EzriCare Eye Drops Lawyers

The Russo Firm represents plaintiffs who have suffered harm from EzriCare Artificial Tears eye drops in lawsuits against the manufacturer, Global Pharma Healthcare.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warned consumers to stop using ErziCare over-the-counter eye drops after linking them to antibiotic-resistant infections, likely caused by bacterial contamination during the manufacturing process. 

As of June 2023, the CDC linked the eyedrops to infections in 81 patients across 18 states—some requiring removal of the eye. The drops have also been linked to four deaths.

Tepezza Hearing Loss Lawyers

• The lawsuit is still pending, and it is unclear how much money, if any, the plaintiffs will be awarded.
